Terms of use
Effective November 5, 2026. Find Malpractice Lawyers (findmalpracticelawyers.com) is operated by Winback Engine (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What Find Malpractice Lawyers is
Find Malpractice Lawyers is an independent directory of California law firms that handle medical malpractice and nursing home and elder neglect cases. We collect publicly available information — from each firm’s own website, official business listings and the State Bar of California — and link to our sources. This site is a directory, not a law firm or lawyer referral service. We do not recommend, endorse or refer you to any lawyer, and lawyers do not pay us for referrals or a share of fees. Listings marked “Advertisement” are paid placements. The information here is general, not legal advice, and using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Check any lawyer's license on the State Bar of California's website (calbar.ca.gov). We don’t take bookings or payments, we don’t collect or pass on case details, and we are not a party to anything you arrange with a firm.
Information can be wrong or out of date
Hours, practice areas, fee statements, languages, offices and license records change. Every detail is shown with its source and the date we checked it, but we can’t guarantee it is current or complete. Fee and language statements are shown as the firm states them. Always check a lawyer’s current record on the State Bar of California’s website (calbar.ca.gov) before you hire. Nothing on Find Malpractice Lawyers is legal advice, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship; our guides are general information. Deadlines apply to legal claims: ask a lawyer about yours.
No endorsement, no invented ratings
Being listed is not an endorsement, recommendation or quality rating. The trust check lists facts we could or could not confirm from public sources; it is not a score or ranking. We publish no reviews, ratings, testimonials or case results.
Paid placements
Some firms pay a flat fee for a Featured placement. It is an advertisement for visibility only, labeled “Advertisement” wherever it appears and shown apart from the alphabetical list. It is never a recommendation or referral, never paid per lead, call, case or referral, and never a share of legal fees, and it never changes a firm’s trust check or State Bar record. More about paid placements.
Photos, names and logos
Photos are credited and linked to where they were published, usually the firm’s own website. Firm names and logos are shown only to identify the firm and belong to their owners. We don’t show photos that are AI-generated or scraped from map services.
If you own a photo, or you’re pictured in one, and want it removed, use the “Request removal” link on the photo or email hello@findmalpracticelawyers.com with the page link and your connection to the photo. We aim to remove it within 2 business days. You don’t need to prove anything for a removal; we’d rather take a photo down than keep one someone objects to.
Firms that claim a profile can choose to let us display photos from their website and social accounts. By ticking that box you confirm you own or have the rights to those photos and grant Find Malpractice Lawyers a free, non-exclusive license to display them on your profile and in links to it. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and we’ll take the photos down.
Other corrections and removals
Anyone can suggest a correction from any profile. Owners can claim their listing for free. To ask us to remove a listing or any other content, email hello@findmalpracticelawyers.com.
Your submissions
When you submit a claim, correction or new firm, you confirm the information is accurate and that you’re allowed to share it. We review submissions before anything changes on a public listing and may decline or edit them. Don’t submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share.
AI assistants and agent tools
Our agent tools (/mcp and the API described at /openapi.json) let AI assistants search the directory and read profiles. They cannot send anyone’s details or case facts to a firm: the person contacts the firm themselves. Automated use is rate-limited; don’t use the tools to copy the directory in bulk.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no scraping at volume, no attempts to break security, no impersonating a firm or lawyer, and no automated submissions.
Links to other sites
We link to firm websites, the State Bar of California, other official registers and social accounts. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, fees or practices.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from a legal matter, fee agreement or firm you find through the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of California. Questions: hello@findmalpracticelawyers.com.
